What is the warranty on Salzer NexCharge EV chargers?
All Salzer NexCharge AC and DC EV chargers come with a standard 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects. Register your charger at salzernexcharge.com/warranty to activate your warranty and receive priority support.
How do I start a charging session?
Open the Salzer NexCharge app, find a nearby charging station, plug in your vehicle, and tap Start Charging. You can also use your RFID card by tapping it on the charger, or enable Auto Charge via VUID so your vehicle charges automatically on plug-in.
What charging connector types are supported?
Our AC chargers use Type 2 (IEC 62196) sockets compatible with all modern electric vehicles. DC fast chargers support CCS2 and CHAdeMO connectors. Check the station details in the app to see available connector types at each location.
How do I activate my RFID card?
Go to RFID Card & Auto Charge in the Salzer NexCharge app, tap your pending card, and follow the OTP verification steps. An OTP will be sent simultaneously to your registered mobile number and email. Enter the OTP to complete activation.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Go to Wallet in the app and tap Recharge. You can pay via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking through our secure Razorpay payment gateway. A minimum wallet balance of ₹10 is required to start a charging session.
What happens if a charging session stops unexpectedly?
If a session stops due to a technical issue, you will not be charged for energy not delivered. Contact our support team with your session ID at support@salzernexcharge.com or call +91 422 4233 600 for a review and refund if applicable.
How do I get a refund for a failed or disputed session?
Refunds for failed or disputed sessions are processed within 5–7 business days. You can raise a refund request directly from the app or contact us at support@salzernexcharge.com. Wallet balance refunds are typically faster than card refunds.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Salzer NexCharge does not store your card or UPI details at any point. All transactions are encrypted end-to-end.
Do I need an internet connection for charging?
Basic RFID-based charging can work without an internet connection at the charger. However, an active connection is required for app-based session control, real-time monitoring, wallet payments, OTA firmware updates, and usage analytics via the CMS.
Can I monitor multiple chargers from one dashboard?
Yes. The Salzer NexCharge CMS gives CPOs and fleet operators a unified dashboard to monitor live sessions, manage RFID cards, view energy analytics, configure tariffs, and generate reports across your entire charging network — regardless of scale.
