Are Salzer chargers compatible with all EVs?
Yes. Our AC chargers use Type 2 sockets (IEC 62196) and DC chargers support CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, and NACS connectors, covering virtually all EVs globally.
Do I need a internet connection for charging?
Basic charging works offline, but an internet connection is required for smart features: remote monitoring, OTA updates, usage analytics, and mobile app control.
How long does installation take?
Residential AC charger installation typically takes 2-4 hours. DC charger installation depends on site conditions and can take 1-3 days including electrical work.
What is OCPP and why is it important?
OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) ensures your charger can communicate with any CMS platform. Salzer supports OCPP 2.0.1 for maximum interoperability.
