Our Legacy

Salzer Electronics Limited was established in 1985 in technical collaboration with M/s. Saelzer Schaltgerate Fabrik, GmbH., Germany. Founded by Mr. R. Doraiswamy, the company set out to design and manufacture world-class Cam Operated Rotary Switches for the Indian market.

Today, Salzer is India's undisputed leader in Rotary Switches and Wiring Ducts with over 40% domestic market share. With 5 state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Coimbatore, ISO 9001/14001/45001 certifications, and an in-house R&D wing recognised by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India — our products are exported to 50+ countries worldwide.

Our EV charging division, Salzer NexCharge, leverages four decades of manufacturing excellence to deliver enterprise-grade AC & DC charging infrastructure, intelligent CMS platforms, and end-to-end EV ecosystem solutions — trusted by CPOs, fleet operators, and government agencies across India.

1985

Salzer Electronics founded

Established in Coimbatore in technical collaboration with Saelzer Schaltgerate Fabrik, GmbH., Germany — bringing world-class rotary switch technology to India.

1991

Consistent dividends begin

Started declaring dividends to shareholders, a track record maintained for over three decades reflecting financial strength and stability.

2019

Acquisition of Kaycee Industries

Acquired Kaycee Industries for USD 2.3M, expanding product portfolio and market reach in the electrical components sector.

2021

Foray into EV charging

Formed a joint venture with Kostad Steuerungsbau GmbH, Austria (Salzer Kostad EV Chargers Pvt Ltd) to manufacture DC fast charging stations, alongside a JV with E-March LLP for EV conversion kits.

2024

Salzer NexCharge launched

Unified EV charging brand unveiled with AC & DC charger portfolio, Salzer NexCharge CMS platform, and mobile app for consumer and enterprise markets.

2025

Revenue milestone

Salzer Electronics achieved revenue of Rs. 1,420Cr (FY2025), with a 22% CAGR, driven by strong growth across switchgear, wires & cables, and EV segments.

Global EV expansion
